Princeton - Caboose and Bridge of Dreams

For those who have been looking for this and dicussing it on an on-line forum.

Here are the pictures I took on Sunday June 19th 2011.

Exact Coordinates for the caboose: Latitude 49.458043 degrees. Longitude 120.504815 degrees.

View from the West, A&W parking lot.

The reason the caboose does not show up in GoogleEarth is that the sat photos were taken in 2008, the caboose was not moved to this location besides the Weyerhause Pavilion until 2009. The pavilion is clearly visible in Google Earth as the red round "thingy".

This still from the West, just a little closer.

Caboose is obviously not in real good shape. I have no idea what their timeline is on restoration, will inquire if I get by during weekday office hours.

View from North. The caboose is located right on top of the TransCanada Trail.

View from the East, more or less.

Junction of Highway 3 and 5a, you REALLY can't miss it.

View of the caboose from Bridge of Dreams, about a quarter Mile away, and that is Highway 5a I am taking the picture from.

Coordinates for Bridge of Dreams: Latitude 49.462618 degrees. Longitude 120.504679. Like the caboose the bridge does not show up in GoogleEarth as it was not built yet in 2008.

Bridge of Dreams from South end. In my Princeton Sub video, I go across this bridge when it was a railway bridge right in the cab of the engine. The Princeton Mill is just to the right and out of sight in this picture.

Dridge of Dreams from North end, taken from Highway 5a. That is the Highway bridge on the edge of the picture.

Sign on the Bridge

Dedication Plaque on Bridge of Dreams.
