The WestCoast Express between Vancouver and Mission began service Nov 5th 1995. There are 5 trains in each direction every day. The journey is about an hour. It is a Push-Pull operation. Each train has between 3 and 5 cars including a cafeteria car. The building in the top right hand corner above the walkway to SeaBus contained our dispatching offices in which I worked for about 20 years. It is now home to "The Vancouver Sun" and "Province" newspapers.

Approaching Pitt River Bridge on left and the old Mission Station on the right, now burned down. I worked in there as an operator in the early 70's.
