I was very fortunate to be able to catch a ride on this train, purely by accident. The engine is privately owned by a group out of Las Vegas. At left above it is "wooding " up at Antonito before leaving. The picture at right was a photo run-by at Lava Tank.

We had stopped for some cattle on the track here and making a meet on the regular passenger train at Toltec, trailed by a work crew (shot from the caboose).
